Today at Senokian we stared Operation Canine which can only be describe as an ambitious but highly achievable project whereby in 3 days we will write a enterprise level web application with integration for telephony and setup everything you would need in order to start a business.
Three days really isn’t much time to:
- write a web application
- create a product website
- create a marketing blog
- setup hosting
- setup a business…
Writing a web application in itself is a massive task, however we are sticking to what we know and the K.I.S.S. method.
If you wan’t to follow how we are getting on, checkout OperationCanine.com or follow @jstride on twitter.

I know it is unprecedented that someone who has moved away from Coventry returns, however in under 8 weeks I will be doing exactly that!
It has been a difficult decision to make, moving away from Manchester and leaving a brilliant job at CAP, however I think it should have an extremely positive outcome.
I have a new job lined up at a great open source software development company in Coventry where I will be the project manager. I’m really looking to getting stuck into this role!
Also it will be great to be closer to most of the family as at the moment it takes a two hour journey just to visit. Of course it will be extremely sad moving away from Manchester where I have lived for the past four years, leaving some great friends behind but I feel it is time to do something different!
